Name: Trent Brown Age: 16 Sex: Male Profession: High-school student Location: Apogee High-Rise Affiliations: Apogee Western High-School Disposition: Brooding
Character Background and Description
Trent Brown is a sophomore at Apogee Western High-School. His favorite color is black, and he proudly displays this with his clothing. He is utterly convinced he is the most tortured and misunderstood person in Apogee, and he is not shy about advertising this to his fellow classmates. Trent is tall, about 6’1, and his baggy clothes hide a slender frame. He has a gaunt face and long hair to mask it.
At home, Trent is the son of Judith and Mary Brown. Both Judith and Mary shrug off his behavior as temporary, despite his insistence that he will not change. Judith and Mary both work at one of Apogee’s many tech startups, where Mary is an accountant and Judith is a software engineer. They had Trent when they were both 28, and have loved him unconditionally since. Trent describes this as “smothering” him.
At school, Trent is a slightly above average student. He does not openly admit it, but he maintains a 3.3 GPA, with consistently high marks in his history and english classes. He often empathises with and quotes Edgar Allen Poe.
Trent has a few close friends, never being the type to have a wide group of friends, even when he was younger. Trent’s friends include Cynthia Silverman and Daniel Gandon. Both Cynthia and Daniel have also fallen into the darker side of life, seeing themselves as equally tortured souls.
Trent has tried summoning familiars that fit his personality, but every time he tries, he gets a cheery and optimistic creature. He asserts this must be the result of poorly drawn summoning circles.
